As I said I was supposed to share the recipe of the "melt-in-the-mouth vanilla cookies" last day. However I had to go and stay at mom's to help her as she had been having her flat redecorated. And when I was back home there were no vanilla cookies left in the box!
Miranda, and Steve... Thank you again my dears! My cookies and cakes used to survive for at two days in the past at least. Now nothing stays more than half a day in our home after those vanillas. Baked and eaten!

Hello guys!
Should I break the big silence? I feel YES!
I'm so sorry for being such a lazy food blogger. I confess it's pure lazyness! I do cook, bake, travel, and write nothing on here about such an active life of mine. If you, my readers, have left me I will understand you. But please come back! I promise to write regularly from now on!

Olive oil is the unique and necessary item of the Mediterranean cuisine, and also of course for Turkish cuisine, especially in the western coasts of Turkey.
The olive oil world is of a big veriety of kinds; but there are three main types of it. Virgin olive oil, refined olive oil, and pure olive oil. (Pure olive oil is also called as 'riviera'.
These three types also have some sub-types, like extra virgin, or ordinary virgin etc.

I know the last time I wrote I mentioned that I gonna give the recipe of my chicken with soy sauce & curry, however that was ages ago, folks. Guess it's exp. date has already gone! And I've been busy in the kitchen since then. So we may all forget about that chic, huh? ;)
I feel responsible to you all to confess a reality. I couldn't live with this if I didn't tell you.

Twenty four days later. I'm doing better.
Four days left to go for the wedding. (I know it's still 5th of May but it's not so wrong to omit today! Ermm, well and don't count the final, 10th of May!)
Some of you cannot imagine in what kind of a rush I can be.
And some of you know it so well!

I haven't been writing for 41 days. I couldn't write. I'm just between the edges. When I turn my left I see rush and happiness, but when I step one back I face sorrow. This is what life is called, huh?
It's sometimes heavy my friend. Sometimes too heavy to carry on.
Probably you remember that one of my uncles (who are not blood-relatives), Erol passed away in the New Year's eve. That was a deep pain to me. Not only his loss but also waiting another appointment with the angel of death...

An undistinguished day.
In fact to be fair rather a good day as Feridun was in it.
Morning hours wasted in dad’s office, then the crowd of Saturday rain in Caddebostan.
Weather is as cold as ice. Something which has the sound of rain but which also looks like snow falls on earth. A cup of Cristmas tea for me, a cup of Haitian coffee for him…
The sun emigrates, dusk comes. Feridun goes back home, and so do I…
